Is nestamed free to use for patients?
Yes. Creating an account, searching doctors and managing your electronic medical records (EMR) is completely free for patients. You only pay your doctor's consultation fee.
How do I book a doctor appointment online?
Find a doctor by name, specialty, hospital or location using the search box on our home page, open the doctor's profile, choose an available date and time slot, enter your mobile number and confirm - you will instantly receive your booking details.
Can I book an appointment without creating an account?
Yes. On any doctor's profile page you can book an appointment using just your mobile number. If you are a new patient, we create your account automatically so you can track all your visits later.
How do I get my prescription after the consultation?
Your doctor issues a digital prescription immediately after the consultation. It is saved to your nestamed account and also delivered to you via WhatsApp and email, where you can view or download it as a PDF.
Are my medical records safe and private?
Absolutely. Your health records belong to you. They are stored securely and can only be accessed by you and the doctors you explicitly grant access to.
What is an EMR and why is it useful for me?
EMR stands for Electronic Medical Record. It keeps every diagnosis, prescription and consultation note from all your visits in one organized timeline, so any doctor you treat with can understand your history instantly - no more carrying paper files.
Can I download my complete health history?
Yes. From your patient dashboard you can download all your diagnoses and prescriptions as a single combined PDF, or download records from a specific doctor whenever you need them.
How does the token/queue system work?
When your appointment is confirmed you receive a queue token for that day. You can check the live token status on your dashboard or the doctor's page, so you arrive exactly when it is your turn instead of waiting in a blind queue.
Can I cancel or reschedule an appointment?
Yes. Go to your appointments page, select the appointment and cancel it. You can then book a new date or time slot based on the doctor's availability.
I am a doctor. How do I join nestamed?
Register using the Register button and choose "Doctor", or contact us and our team will verify your credentials and set up your public profile where patients can find and book you.
Will I get reminders about my appointments?
Yes. nestamed sends real-time updates about your appointments, prescriptions and records directly to your WhatsApp and email, so you never miss a visit.
